A team quarterbacked by Rex Grossman is out to a 2-0 start. Has your jaw been picked up off the ground yet? Now really get ready to have your mind blown: The Washington Redskins have a pretty decent chance of getting out to a 3-0 start, especially considering Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's health is still in doubt.
To be fair to Grossman, he's actually been pretty decent this year. Despite tossing a pair of first-half interceptions last week against the Arizona Cardinals, he recovered to have a pretty decent game. On the year, he's thrown four touchdowns and passed for 596 yards. Perhaps even more shockingly, the Redskins are getting a pretty decent contribution from Tim Hightower, who ran for 96 yards last week.
On Sunday, they'll face a Cowboys team that may or may not have Romo, who kinda made up for his disappointing Week 1 by leading his team to a come-from-behind victory while dealing with a broken rib. For all the guff he received for his late interception in Week 1, Romo has put together a pretty solid season (687 yards, four touchdowns) and it's hard not to think the Cowboys are much worse off if it ends up being Jon Kitna slinging passes.
