Raiders Vs. Jets: Darren McFadden Unstoppable In Oakland's 34-24 Victory

The Oakland Raiders didn't need to wait very long for Darren McFadden to run all over the opposition again. The fourth-year running back ran for 171 yards and two touchdowns in the Raiders' 34-24 victory over the New York Jets.

McFadden opened the season with 150 yards on the ground against the Denver Broncos, but he didn't score any touchdowns in that contest. McFadden's highlight of the game on Sunday came on a 70-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter, which brought the Raiders to within three at that point. Sebastian Janikowski tied the game at 17 as time expired in the half.

The first half of the game was the Jets', as Mark Sanchez ran and threw for a touchdown. But all Sanchez could manage in the second half was a 16-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress. With momentum shifting to the Raiders in the second half, the Raiders took the lead for good when rookie wide receiver Denarius Moore had a 23-yard touchdown run with 40 seconds left in the third quarter.

The Jets (2-1) have a Sunday Night Football showdown with the Baltimore Ravens next week. The Oakland Raiders (2-1) host the New England Patriots next Sunday.
