NFL experts do not expect the New Orleans Saints to have much trouble against the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are 7.5-point underdogs as first-round quarterback Blaine Gabbert makes his first NFL start against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday at EverBank Field in Jacksonville. The good news is that the Jaguars are likely to avoid a local television blackout. The bad news is that NFL experts do not anticipate the Jaguars to upset the heavily-favored Saints.
Sports Illustrated's Peter King doesn't give the Jaguars much of a chance, predicting a 14-point Saints' win while advising head coach Jack Del Rio to give Pro Bowl running back 30+ carries to keep the ball out of Gabberts' hands and to keep Brees on the visiting sidelines.
In a clean sweep, the NFL Network's Playbook staff of Sterling Sharpe, Joe Theismann, Brian Baldinger and Matt Millen all took the Saints. The experts at CBSSports.com -- Pete Prisco, Clark Judge, Mike Freeman, Dave Richard and Will Brinson -- all took the Saints against the spread.
