Houston's injury bug just won't stop biting the playoff-bound Texans. After losing both Matt Schaub and Matt Leinart for the season to injury, Houston quarterback T.J. Yates has left the AFC South champions' Week 17 game against the Tennessee Titans with an apparent shoulder injury.
With Yates, who was already listed on Houston's injury report for Week 17, out, the Texans will turn to a familiar face for NFL fans: Jake Delhomme. Delhomme hasn't played since Week 14 of 2010, and has had diminishing returns for years since leaving Carolina, but the Texans are really without a lot of options at the moment: Yates was the team's third-string quarterback before the injuries to Schaub and Leinart, and Jeff Garcia, the current third-stringer in Houston, is inactive for today's game.
