The Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars are playing a game with draft implications on the line. Indianapolis is looking for their third consecutive win, something that could help Jim Caldwell hang onto his job as head coach in Indy. Jacksonville got out to an early lead, thanks to a deep ball from rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
Gabbert hit his fellow rookie, wide receiver Chastin West, for a 23-yard touchdown. Check out the video of the touchdown here.
Prior to this game, West had 12 catches for 140 yards and a touchdown. Gabbert has struggled this season. Prior to this game he had 11 touchdowns and 11 interceptions along with just a 64.5 quarterback rating and a 50.5 completion percentage.
An Indianapolis win and a St. Louis loss would bump the Colts back to the second spot in the 2012 NFL Draft. The Rams would move into the first spot.
