Titans Vs. Texans Halftime Score: Tennessee Leading, Could Be In Line For Playoff Berth

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Tennessee Titans are spending Week 17 playing against a Houston Texans team without Arian Foster, and have already knocked T.J. Yates out of the game. And yet, they're only barely ahead of the Texans at halftime, and are nursing a 13-10 lead.

Matt Hasselbeck has thrown for 166 yards and a touchdown for the Titans, and Tennessee's defense has gotten a turnover and held the Texans to 151 yards. But the Titans have yet to open up a larger lead than the one they currently have against what amounts to a reduced version of the skeleton crew the Texans were already working with.

The Texans have been anchored by Ben Tate, who has run for 82 yards and a touchdown. Andre Johnson, playing despite a nagging hamstring injury, has two catches for 21 yards, and Jake Delhomme, on in relief of Yates, has 58 yards through the air.
