Jimmy Graham's spectacular season is officially one for the record books. The New Orleans Saints tight end just scored his 11th touchdown of the season, but the record-breaking play came a little later. Graham's next catch gave him 79 yards for the day and 1,291 for the season. That catch put him one yard beyond Kellen Winslow, who set the record in 1980. Here's a look at his touchdown, which put him within six yards of tying the record:
Graham's touchdown was also Drew Brees' third of the day and he has already thrown his fourth. That gives him 45 touchdown passes for the season, still well short of Tom Brady's record of 50, but who knows with the way this is going?
It should be noted that it might not be enough to hold the record for very long. New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski started the day with 1,219 yards and currently has 43 yards.
