VIDEO: Jared Allen Within A Sack Of Breaking Michael Strahan's Record

Stay connected with SB Nation

Jared Allen needed 4.0 sacks to tie Michael Strahan's record of 22.5 sacks in a season. Strahan, of course, set that record in 2001 when Brett Favre basically laid down on one of the game's final plays. After dragging down Josh McCown to give him 3.5 for the day, Allen is a sack away from having the record all to himself.
