Read More: New England Patriots, Denver Broncos
After a relatively mild winter, snow and cold air began creeping into the central New England area this week. A few inches of snow fell on the area on Thursday and a blast of arctic air will have wind chill temperatures near zero by halftime of Saturday night's AFC Divisional Playoffs game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos.
By kickoff, the temperature will be near 20 with wind chills in the single digits.
The media outlets have been streaming into nearby Bass Pro Shops to stock up on winter gear for Saturday night, WHDH in Boston reports.
"They’ll come in and they’ll order anywhere from 300 to 500 hand warmers to make sure all the people that are working for the game will be nice and warm," said Jeff Moschella, Bass Pro Shops Manager.
