Saints Vs. 49ers, NFL Playoffs: San Fransisco Defense Forces Impressive Three And Out

The San Fransisco 49ers were forced into a quick punt yet again with just over 11 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the New Orleans Saints the chance to tie the game or take the lead. They did absolutely nothing with that opportunity, and they have been forced to punt the ball themselves with just over 10 minutes remaining. The Niners pass rush was absolutely relentless, forcing Drew Brees into two incompletions and a sack while producing a three and out.

Ahmad Smith was the man who provided the sack for his team on second down, while third down featured Justin Smith forcing Brees into bounce passes with his pressure. The Saints have three Pro Bowl offensive linemen, but you wouldn't know it by this performance today.
