Read More: Tom Brady (QB - NEP), Rob Gronkowski (TE - NEP), New England Patriots, Denver Broncos
The New England Patriots haven't let up off the gas pedal despite being up 42-10 at the beginning of the fourth quarter. Tom Brady is still taking snaps, still slinging the ball across the field, still finding his receivers and putting up bonkers numbers.
SI.com: Live Broncos-Patriots box score
Brady passed 300 yards passing before the fourth quarter even began, the first time he's accomplished that in a playoff game since 2005. He's done it by leaning heavily on Pro Bowl tight end Rob Gronkowski, who hauled in two long catches to bring the Patriots inside the five. Gronkowski now has 10 receptions, 145 yards and three touchdowns.
His numbers pale in comparison, however, to his quarterback's. Brady has turned in a performance for the ages, throwing for 349 yards and six touchdowns with just one interception. This drive stalled at the three-yard line because the Pats ran three times after Gronkowski's catch. Stephen Gostkowski's 20-yard field goal made the score 45-10.
