2012 NFL Playoff Schedule And Bracket Update: New England Patriots Advance To AFC Championship

More: Who's the best quarterback still playing?

The New England Patriots are through to the AFC Championship after putting away the Denver Broncos with ease on Sunday night, 45-10. It was never close as Tom Brady threw six touchdowns and the Patriots offense carved up the Denver defense, leaving no doubt about the outcome. As a result, New England is one game away from a trip to the Super Bowl.

The Patriots join the San Francisco 49ers in booking a ticket to league championship weekend. San Francisco will face either the Green Bay Packers or New York Giants next Sunday, while the Patriots will face the Baltimore Ravens or Houston Texans.
