In the most unsurprising news of the day, lots of people, especially the media, love talking about Tim Tebow.
The Denver Broncos lost on Saturday night to the New England Patriots but in terms of media coverage the Broncos quarterback dominated. According to a study by Joyce Julius and Associates, the media coverage of Tebow on TV, print and the internet dwarfed Tom Brady, the quarterback who threw six touchdown passes in Saturday's victory, in the week leading up to the game.
Check out this chart of media mentions for the top three quarterbacks compared to Tebow in the six days leading up to the games last weekend:
During the game, however, Brady and his six touchdown passes came out on top. He was mentioned by CBS broadcasters 87 times while Tebow was mentioned 68 times.
With Tebow and the Broncos out of the playoffs, the media blitz may finally be slowing down. (Maybe.)
