Eli Manning Is Limited In New York Giants Practice On Wednesday

The New York Giants are less than a week away from meeting the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship game so it's a little troublesome to hear that quarterback Eli Manning was limited in Wednesday's practice with an illness.

Giants coach Tom Coughlin is hoping it's just a 24-hour stomach bug, according to Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger, so it may not be serious. Manning started practice but didn't finish, Coughlin said.

Obviously losing Manning or even having him in a limited capacity would be disastrous for the Giants but it's too early to think that will be the case. The Giants will practice on Thursday and Friday as well before Sunday's game against the 49ers.
