The quarterback drama in the NFL continues but this time around it's good news for the New England Patriots. Tom Brady missed Wednesday's practice with a left shoulder injury but head coach Bill Belichick indicated he's likely to return to practice on Thursday.
The Boston Herald asked Brady about missing Wednesday's practice and he said, "It's not the first practice I've missed."
Brady suffered a left shoulder injury several weeks ago that's cost him a little bit of practice time but he hasn't missed a game and no one expects him to miss Sunday's AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens. Brady hasn't missed a game since the 2008 season in which he suffered a season-ending knee injury.
The Patriots are favored over the Ravens in New England which is a good sign that the oddsmakers aren't concerned about Brady's injury.
