Ravens Vs. Patriots, AFC Championship 2012: Jim Nantz, Phil Simms To Call Title Game

CBS' top NFL broadcasting team of Jim Nantz (play-by-play) and Phil Simms (analyst) will be joined by field reporter Steve Tasker for the call of the 2011 AFC Championship Game between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots.

The same crew got an up-close look at the Patriots in last Saturday night's 45-10 win over the Denver Broncos, a performance that impressed Nantz.

"No doubt about it. (Tom) Brady was in a special zone," Nantz told The Denver Post.

"The last Super Bowl win for Brady and the Patriots was seven years ago, and they hadn't performed well in playoff competition in recent seasons. Brady and his teammates were not about to lose this game. This, I think, was more of a factor than facing Tebow.

"And the fans contributed. They were loud...They were bloodthirsty."
