Chad Ochocinco Among Inactives For Ravens-Patriots Game

The New England Patriots will try to beat the Baltimore Ravens in Sunday's AFC Championship game and they'll have to do it without Chad Ochocinco. The Patriots receiver is listed as inactive for the game, which means he will not play.

Ochocinco left the team over the weekend to attend his father's funeral.

Ochocinco's absence won't affect the Patriots offense too much. He's been a non-factor for much of the season catching just 15 balls for 276 yards and one touchdown on the year. The Patriots are still centered around Wes Welker and the tight ends

The rest of the Patriots inactives include QB Ryan Mallett, RB Stevan Ridley, RB Shane Vereen, LB Gary Guyton, OG Donald Thomas, OT Sebastian Vollmer.

That Ridley is inactive could mean a larger role for Kevin Faulk, who is active.

And for the Ravens, the inactives include WR Tandon Doss, CB Chykie Brown, RB Anthony Allen, LBs Josh Bynes and Sergio Kindle, G/C Justin Boren, NT Brandon McKinney.
