The Ravens started the opening drive of the AFC Championship game on their 20-yard line, and their first three plays were completely unsuccessful. Ray Rice tried the same play that he busted for an 83-yard touchdown run in their last playoff meeting, but was stuffed for no gain. After an incomplete pass to Anquan Boldin was almost intercepted, Joe Flacco tucked it and ran for four yards on 3rd and 10 and was stopped hard to force a punt.
There wasn't much creativity for the Ravens on the first drive for the Ravens, but they were never going to do an end-around or fleaflicker to open the game up. It's not their style. If they need to, they'll bust those out later. Patriots ball.
