Read More: Joe Flacco (QB - BAL), Dennis Pitta (TE - BAL), Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots
After watching their defense give up the game's first touchdown, the Baltimore Ravens' offense was tasked with responding with a score of their own. Quarterback Joe Flacco seems to have gained a ton of confidence after connecting with Torrey Smith on their deep shot; he hasn't thrown an incomplete pass since.
That rhythm help Flacco lead the Ravens all the way down the field to respond with a touchdown of his own, this one a six-yard pass to tight end Dennis Pitta, his first catch of the game.
Flacco gashed the deep interior of the New England Patriots defense all drive long, first with a 20-yard pass to Lee Evans, then with a 37-yard strike to Anquan Boldin, who fought off several Pats defenders after making the catch.
Ray Rice finally got going after that, running four straight times, narrowly picking up the first down, moving the ball inside the Patriots' 10 for the second consecutive drive. His runs helped open up the secondary for Flacco to connect with Pitta, and the game is again tied, 10-10.
