Ravens Vs. Patriots, 2012 AFC Championship Game: Pats Take Back Lead

Stay connected with SB Nation

The New England Patriots have gotten their offense in gear, and are now marching up and down the field against the Baltimore Ravens. But Tom Brady's troops haven't had a ton of success in the red zone so far, and had to settle for a field goal late in the second quarter to take a 13-10 lead.

Brady led the Patriots' third scoring drive of 10 plays or more to get that field goal, but threw two incomplete passes on New England's first set of downs in the red zone. And, much as on New England's first field goal drive of the day, Brady failed to connect with Rob Gronkowski on a third-down throw to force Stephen Gostkowski to trot onto the field.

Brady has thrown for 146 yards in the first half, but has also missed on 10 throws, which is uncharacteristic inaccuracy.
