VIDEO: Torrey Smith Leaps And Stretches For Incredible Touchdown, Ravens Go Ahead

Down 16-10, the Baltimore Ravens needed a touchdown to take the lead and momentum, and rookie wide receiver Torrey Smith gave them all that and then some, with an effort to get in the end zone that can be described only as spectacular.

Before Smith's dive, the Ravens' defense had held the Patriots to another field goal in the red zone, which gave the offense a chance to take the lead if they were able to score their second touchdown. Joe Flacco continued his stellar performance immediately with a perfectly thrown short over-the-shoulder pass to Ed Dickson, which was followed up quickly by a 12-yard run by Ray Rice for a first down to get close to midfield.

After a couple of fruitless plays led to a third-and-11 situation, Joe Flacco hit Lee Evans for a the third time on a beautiful comeback route for 13 yards. The theme of completing high-pressure third downs would repeat itself just a few plays later after connecting with Dennis Pitta, who got absolutely popped by Antwaun Molden. Two rush plays later, one by Flacco, another by Ricky Williams, and the Ravens were yet again in a third down. This time, Flacco found Smith, who broke free for the score.
