ANIMATED: Tom Brady Scores Touchdown, Gets Nailed By Ray Lewis

Finally, the New England Patriots turned a drive deep into Ravens territory into a touchdown in the 2012 AFC Championship Game. But even that was weird: Tom Brady, the field general of the Patriots' passing attack, instead scored on a dive over the line in the fourth quarter to give the Patriots a 23-20 lead.

That was Brady's second dive on the Pats' goal-to-go series: he was inches short on second down after taking a sneak to the outside and getting a touchdown overruled on review. And it looked painful, with Ray Lewis crashing into Brady after he made his leap.

And the Patriots did all that despite losing Rob Gronkowski to injury on the drive. Gronkowski appeared to injure his ankle while being tackled by Bernard Pollard on a 23-yard catch-and-run, the longest play by the Patriots offense on the day. He then returned for the final play of the drive after heading to the locker room for treatment.
