Tom Brady: 'I Sucked Pretty Bad Today But Our Defense Saved Us'

Who knew that Joe Flacco would play better than Tom Brady? If you look at the stats following Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots, Flacco out-did Brady. Unfortunately for Flacco, Brady and the Patriots won the game.

At Brady's postgame press conference he acknowledged that he "sucked today."

"Well I sucked pretty bad today but our defense saved us," Brady said. "I'm gonna go out and try and do a better job in a couple of weeks."

Brady finished completing 22-of-36 passes for 239 yards and two interceptions. It wasn't Brady's best performance but a win is a win and this marks 16 times Brady has won in the postseason, which ties Joe Montana for the 16th in history. It also marks the fifth Super Bowl he'll have gone to, all with Bill Belichick, which is an NFL record for a quarterback-coach combo.

Brady and the Pats will play the winner of the Giants-49ers game in the 2012 Super Bowl.
