Dean Pees To Replace Chuck Pagano; Ravens Will Keep Cam Cameron

Dean Pees will replace Chuck Pagano as the defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens. Cam Cameron has been retained as the team's offensive coordinator.

Dean Pees will replace Chuck Pagano as the new defensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens, the team announced Friday. Pees served as the Ravens' linebackers this past year, helping lead a defensive front that ranked second in the league against the run and tied for third in sacks.

Pees served as the defensive coordinator for the New England Patriots for four seasons from 2006 to 2009. In 2006, the Pats allowed just 14.8 points per game, a franchise record. In 2007, they were second in the league with 48 sacks on their way to a 16-0 regular season record.

The Ravens also announced that Cam Cameron will be retained as the team's offensive coordinator. Cameron has been in charge of the offense since 2008, but has drawn some ire from fans displeased by his play-calling and his handling of offensive skill talent. The Ravens ranked 15th in total offense this past season.
