After 17 weeks of action, the 2012 NFL playoffs schedule is set. Three teams clinched playoff berths on Sunday afternoon in a wild day of football that saw two teams back into the playoffs thanks to losses by other teams.

The Denver Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs but backdoored their way into the playoffs thanks to an Oakland Raiders loss. The Cincinnati Bengals lost to the Baltimore Ravens but backdoored their way into the playoffs thanks to said Broncos loss. The New York Giants wrapped up a crazy weekend by claiming the NFC East with a Sunday Night Football win over the Dallas Cowboys.

This year's playoff field features an impressive mix of recent champions and perennial losers. The Green Bay Packers are back to defend their title. The Saints, Steelers and Giants are recent Lombardi winners looking to recapture the trophy.

On the other side, the Lions (1999) and 49ers (2002) snapped two of the longer active playoff droughts and the Texans will be making their first ever playoff appearance. Most importantly, there is a chance we will get an opportunity to bet on Jake Delhomme in a Texans playoff game.

As the 12 teams prepare for the NFL's second season, here is a rundown of each team's most recent playoff appearance as well as their last Super Bowl title.
