AFC Wild Card 2012: Denver Broncos Make Roster Move As NFL Playoffs Loom

Stay connected with SB Nation

The Denver Broncos have made a couple of roster moves a few days in advance of their AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Broncos lost G Chris Kuper to a nasty ankle injury last weekend against the Kansas City Chiefs and have decided to place him on injured reserve, which is a disappointing move because Kuper has been playing well lately.

Replacing his spot on the roster will be OT Ryan Harris. He worked out with the Broncos last week and signed with the team following Kuper's injury.

Harris was previously a 2007 third round pick by the Broncos. He spent three seasons with the team before moving onto the Philadelphia Eagles before the 2011 season. He was ultimately injured there and released with an injury settlement.

That opened the door for his return to Denver. Harris now has a shot at a playoff run with the Broncos.
