Read More: Ben Roethlisberger (QB - PIT), Rashard Mendenhall (RB - PIT), Tim Tebow (QB - NYJ), Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos
Home teams usually get quite a bit of respect when the NFL odds are put out each week -- particularly in the playoffs -- but Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos have bucked that trend. The visiting Pittsburgh Steelers are projected to win by at least one touchdown when they head to Mile High on Saturday.
The betting line opened with the Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers as eight-point favorites on the road, but Vegas has decided that line was actually a bit low according to the excellent database at Odds Shark. Even with Ben Roethlisberger more banged up than usual and Rashard Mendenhall out for the playoffs due to injury, however, Vegas has made the Steelers even bigger favorites than they first anticipated.
The over-under has gone in the opposite direction, however, as the point spread moved from 35½ down to 34 on most sites as Vegas apparently believed Tebow would take Woody Paige's advice and pull the trigger more than he did in the regular season.
