The Houston Texans offense didn't fare any better on their second drive. After a 20-yard pass to start their second drive of the day, the Texans went nowhere in three straight plays and had to punt to the Bengals once again.
Texans receiver Andre Johnson has been battling a couple of hamstring injuries all season but he's still Andre Johnson and he had a nice 20-yard reception from Yates moving the Texans offense down the field in a promising start.
From there, the drive stalled with the Bengals knocking down a Yates pass on third down. The Texans punted once again and the Bengals take over.
The Texans have started the game with little to show for it. The game remains scoreless midway through the first quarter.
