On Saturday afternoon, the Houston Texans emerged victorious, advancing to the divisional round with a 31-10 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Arian Foster was strong throughout and T.J. Yates won the battle of rookie quarterbacks, besting Andy Dalton -- who melted down in a big way -- to take the win. Houston advances to play the Baltimore Ravens next weekend.
In the evening matchup, the New Orleans Saints actually trailed the Detroit Lions at the half before opening it up in the second half. Drew Brees and the Saints' offense were prolific, racking up 626 yards of total offense in a 45-28 win. New Orleans moves forward to face the San Francisco 49ers, winners of the NFC West, in the next round.
