Falcons Vs. Giants: Atlanta Goes Three-And-Out On First Drive

Matt Ryan opened the Falcons first drive of the playoffs this season with a handoff to Michael Turner, which should comes as no surprise. He handed it off to him again on second down, and the Giants notorious defensive line stuffed him on second-and-eight to set up a big third down.

On third-and-long, Ryan attempted a pass to Harry Douglas. The Giants brought pressure, plenty of it. Incomplete. Thus ended the Falcons first drive of the game, a three-and-out in which they gained a meager two yards against an active Giants front seven.

Ryan can expect to see plenty of blue shirts in the pocket all day, as the Giants look to repeat the formula that won them a surprise Super Bowl after the 2007 season.

SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Big Blue View for the latest on the Giants and The Falcoholic for the latest on the Falcons.
