The New York Giants' first possession with a lead in the 2012 NFL playoffs diverged from the one that got them that lead. Not only did the Giants take to the air against the Atlanta Falcons after staying on the ground for much of a touchdown drive, but New York failed to pick up a first down before halftime.
Eli Manning threw three passes on the drive: his first, a bomb, was broken up; his second, a pass to Hakeem Nicks for nine yards, left the Giants inches short of a first down. But his third down pass went down the field and was broken up, ending the Giants' drive and giving the ball back to the Falcons before halftime.
SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Big Blue View for the latest on the Giants and The Falcoholic for the latest on the Falcons.
