Steelers Vs. Broncos, 2012 AFC Wild Card: Denver Offense Scuffling Early

Stay connected with SB Nation

Tim Tebow's Denver Broncos offense has been known for both its late-game heroics and its punishing running game. The Broncos haven't started fast very often, though, and appear unlikely to reverse that trend against the Pittsburgh Steelers in their 2012 AFC Wild Card game.

Tebow nearly made something happen on second down of the Broncos' second drive, escaping from pressure, rolling left, and firing a pass downfield to a receiver who had broken off his route, but the pass was a bit too long for Dante Rosario to haul in. The Denver call on third down, a screen pass to Eric Decker, gave Tebow his first completion of the day, but did not move the chains.

SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday.
