Read More: Tim Tebow (QB - NYJ), Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos
Is Tim Tebow one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL? Probably not. But he's playing like he should be in the conversation in the second quarter of the Denver Broncos' 2012 AFC Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, now adding his typical running to some surprising passing and staking the Broncos to a 14-6 lead.
After two long throws to get the Broncos' first touchdown of the day, Tebow threw deep to Demaryius Thomas for the second time, and Thomas got a few yards after the catch for a 57-yard reception, the longest play of the day.
Tebow then finished the drive with a run up the middle for a touchdown.
The two touchdowns represent a reversal of fortune for the Broncos, who have struggled in second quarters all season. This Sunday, behind Tebow, they're winning the period, 14-0.
SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Behind the Steel Curtain for the latest on the Steelers and Mile High Report for the latest on the Broncos.
