Ben Roethlisberger's Ankle Injury Is Noticeable In Steelers-Broncos Game

The Denver Broncos are on a roll as Tim Tebow and the Broncos offense has scored 17 unanswered points and hold a 17-6 lead midway through the second quarter. Tebow's last three completions have resulted in 139 yards and it seems everything is going Denver's way at this point.

They may have someone else going their way -- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger looks like his ankle is affecting him. Roethlisberger entered this game with a high ankle sprain suffered a few weeks ago. He's healthy enough to play, but not 100 percent.

Shortly before he threw his interception in the second quarter, Roethlisberger called a timeout and walked to the sidelines where his limp was clearly noticeable. Roethlisberger plays through a lot of pain, we know that, but that only helps when he's effective. Right now, the Broncos secondary is winning that matchup. Roethlisberger has completed just 7-of-17 passes.

SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Behind The Steel Curtain for more on the Steelers and Mile High Report for more on the Broncos.
