Read More: Willis McGahee (RB - DEN), Tim Tebow (QB - NYJ), Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos
Tim Tebow's red-hot second quarter has not translated to a similarly smoking third quarter — yet. The Broncos managed to move the ball on their first drive of the second half, but did not score, breaking a string of four straight scoring drives from the second quarter.
Willis McGahee and Tebow combined to pick up first downs both on the ground and through the air, and another scramble for Tebow brought with it a hit after he had slid that got Tebow to gesticulate for a penalty. But Denver and Tebow didn't look to go deep or use the rollouts that worked so well in the first half, and settled for a punt deep into Pittsburgh territory.
