Steelers Vs. Broncos, 2012 AFC Wild Card: Suisham Field Goal Cut Denver's Lead, 23-16

Stay connected with SB Nation

Down 23-13 to the Denver Broncos, the Pittsburgh Steelers came out firing on their first possession of the fourth quarter. Ben Roethlisberger hit Antonio Brown on a 20-yard pass on the first play of the series. Isaac Redman then picked up a nine-yard gain on a pass over the middle.

Redman then broke off a 28-yard run, putting him over 100 rushing yards for the game. An incomplete pass followed by a false start penalty made it second-and-15. Roethlisberger scrambled for nine yards on his bad wheel.

Third-and-six ended in an incomplete pass, but Shaun Suisham booted a 37-yard field goal as the sun set over the stadium to make it 23-16. Pittsburgh will be fighting hard, against the Broncos and the clock, to make sure the sun doesn't set on their season this week.
