Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos aren't all that used to holding the lead in the fourth quarter until the last possible moment. That's their scenario in the final Wild Card game of the 2012 NFL playoffs, though, as the Broncos still have a lead over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A questionable pass interference flag on Ike Taylor set up the Broncos in Steelers territory, and Tebow running the ball helped get them deep into it. A Tebow pass to Eddie Royal on a screen would have set the Broncos up in a goal to go set of downs, but a flag for blocking pushed Denver back, and the Broncos failed to score a touchdown on the possession.
Reliable kicker Matt Prater nailed the field goal, though, extending Denver's lead to 23-13. If the oft-discussed "Tebow Time" is going to happen in the fourth quarter on this Sunday, it may come in defense of a lead, rather than in search of it.
SB Nation's NFL bloggers made predictions for Wild Card weekend and here's a look at the updated NFL playoffs schedule for Sunday. Check out Behind the Steel Curtain for the latest on the Steelers and Mile High Report for the latest on the Broncos.
