Betting odds and lines for Thursday's NFL contest between the Steelers and Titans.
This week's Thursday night showdown features the Pittsburgh Steelers visiting the Tennessee Titans at LP Field. According to the oddsmakers, the Steelers (2-2) are 5-point favorites over the Titans (1-4). The opening line for the contest was Pittsburgh favored by 4.5 points according to Oddshark.com.
The Steelers will enter the contest looking for their first road win of the season. To do so, it will need to find a way to exploit the Titans defense which has allowed at least 30 points in all five of its games this season. Those stats could favor the over/under line of 44 points.
Injury wise, Pittsburgh will be without veteran safety Troy Polamalu who re-injured his calf in Sunday's 16-14 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. Meanwhile, the Titans are hoping starting quarterback Jake Locker (shoulder) could return after missing last week. The odds of a return are not good with the short week of rest.
This game is schedule to begin at 8:20 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on the NFL Network.
