Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
The Houston Texans are favored to move to 6-0 on the season when they take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 6.
The Houston Texans share the last two undefeated spots with the Atlanta Falcons, sitting at 5-0 after a narrow victory over the New York Jets in Week 5. They've looked dominant at times and slightly less dominant at others, but a 5-0 record is all they care about at this point. They've got a three-game lead in their division and are rolling right along.
On Sunday night, they've got a formidable opponent, however: the Green Bay Packers. Now, if we're going only by record, the Packers aren't the fear-inducing opponents at 2-3, but any team quarterbacked by Aaron Rodgers can't be overlooked. The relative closeness of the matchup despite the record disparity has been noted by oddsmakers, who have the Texans as just a three-point favorite, according to SB Nation's main NFL odds page, via OddsShark.com.
The line is likely to move throughout the week, possibly with a bigger spread predicted in favor of the Texans. As it stands, the over/under for the game is set at 48 across the board, though given the way Houston's defense has played this season, the under might be the smart bet in this one.
