Week 6 NFL odds Broncos vs. Chargers: San Diego favored in opening lines by SB Nation

Derick E. Hingle-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The San Diego Chargers are favored in the opening line for Monday night's matchup with the Denver Broncos.

The San Diego Chargers (3-2) are listed as the early odds favorites for Monday night's game against the Denver Broncos (2-3). San Diego is placed as a three-point favorite with the total set at over 50, according to SB Nation odds powered by OddsShark.com. However, OddsShark has the game set at even with the total set at over 49.5.

San Diego will be entering the contest fresh off a disappointing loss against the New Orleans Saints, which was New Orleans first win of the year. Despite taking a 17-14 lead into halftime, the Chargers only managed to score seven points in the second half while allowing 17 against.

Denver will also come into the game fresh off a loss to the New England Patriots. Despite showing signs of life late, a fumble by running back Willis McGahee in New England territory cemented the Broncos third loss in four weeks.

The game is scheduled for Monday night at 8:30 p.m., ET and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
