Jordan Norwood is on crutches and a walking boot, meaning he's almost certainly out for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.
Cleveland Browns WR Jordan Norwood (foot) was spotted on crutches and wearing a walking boot Thursday, reports Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal. It's a massive setback for the slot receiver, who was coming off a career game against the Giants, hauling in nine catches on 81 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Walking in crutches on Thursday means Norwood is almost certainly out this week against the Cincinnati Bengals. It's a disappointment for Norwood, who was taking advantage of more snaps with Mohamad Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin both out. The Browns' WR corps is severely depleted at the moment, although this may mean more playing time for raw rookie Josh Gordon. I would avoid the Browns' passing offense in most fantasy formats.
