Dustin Keller limited in Thursday practice: Ready to make fantasy return?

Ed Mulholland-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Dustin Keller got in limited practice for the second straight day, and is hoping to play again on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) was limited in practice for the second day in a row. It's the first significant sign of progress in weeks that he's able to practice, and he's hoping to play in Week 6 against the Indianapolis Colts. Keller hasn't played since the season opener, being sidelined with a lingering hamstring injury. He has just one catch for seven yards on the year.

Fantasy Impact: Keller's return isn't set in stone, and hammy injuries can easily flare up, so keep checking back for his game status. If/when Keller returns, he will instantly be the best playmaker in New York's injury-depleted receiving corps. If active Sunday, patient fantasy owners can slot him in as a TE2 against the Colts' struggling defense.
