New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett practiced on Friday after hyper-extending his knee in Week 5. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants tight end Martellus Bennett practiced on Friday after hyper-extending his knee in last week's win over the Cleveland Browns. Bennett was limited in practice on Thursday but did play through the injury in Week 5. Bennett finished that game with 30 yards on three catches and has said this week that he expects to play on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Impact: Bennett would not be a great start this week against San Francisco, even if he were 100 percent healthy. It's good news for fantasy owners that he is practicing but it would be wise to wait for the injury report just to make sure there were not setbacks. Bennett is a fringe starter this week at tight end.
