Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon (foot) has been listed as questionable for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon was dealing with soreness in his injured foot on Friday and has been listed as questionable for Sunday's game, according to coach Mike Shanahan.
Garcon has played the last two weeks for Washington, recovering a fumble for a touchdown against Tampa Bay and catching three passes for 24 yards in the Week 5 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan conceded earlier this week that Garcon didn't look 100 percent healthy in practice and during games.
Fantasy Impact: Outside of Week 1, Garcon has not been much help to fantasy owners and it's because of this nagging injury. It isn't news that Garcon is not healthy but there had been optimism that the injury was getting better.
Friday's news doesn't make Garcon a great fantasy start and he should probably be used only as a No. 3 receiver or flex play if active against the Minnesota Vikings.
