Danny Amendola has been ruled out for the Rams' Week 6 matchup against the Dolphins with a shoulder/collarbone injury. We break down the fantasy implications.
Danny Amendola has been ruled out for the Week 6 matchup between the St. Louis Rams and the Miami Dolphins, according to the Rams' Friday injury report. Amendola is expected to miss another 5-7 weeks of game time after dislocating his clavicle in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact: The Rams haven't gotten much production out of the rest of the receiving corps this season, so it's difficult to tell who stands to benefit the most with Amendola out. Ostensibly, Gibson will see a lot more targets, but Givens has proven to be a potentially explosive deep threat as a rookie.
If you have to use a Rams wideout this week, Gibson is the most likely to provide value as a Flex option. Ideally, you should be able to hold out a week or two to see how Sam Bradford redistributes his passes now that Amendola is out for the long-term.
