Brad Mills-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Robert Griffin III practiced with the Redskins on Friday.

Injured Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III practiced with the team on Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings, but he is expected to be able to play. Griffin suffered a concussion during Washington's Week 5 loss to the Falcons.

While speaking about the matter after practice, head coach Mike Shanahan didn't yet know if Griffin would be listed as questionable or probable, but he was optimistic about the quarterback's ability to play this weekend. "If he passes his tests and we don't see any symptoms then it looks like he'll be ready to go," Shanahan said. Shanahan added, though, that if something were to come up before game time that made them uncomfortable with playing Griffin, they'd play it safe and hold him out.

Griffin has started all five games for the Redskins in 2012. He has completed 69.1 percent of his passes for 1,161 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
