Brandon Bolden and Shane Vereen are listed as questionable on the Patriots' injury report for Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.
Brandon Bolden and Shane Vereen are listed as questionable for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks on the Pats' injury report released Friday. Both running backs were limited participants in practice throughout the week.
Bolden has been listed on the injury report for two straight weeks due to a knee injury, but has yet to miss a game this season. Vereen missed the first three weeks of the season due to a foot injury, and has played a limited role in the two games he has appeared in since.
Fantasy Impact: Both Bolden and Vereen played last week despite being listed questionable with the same ailments, so every indication is that they will play. Both are still in line behind Stevan Ridley for carries, however.
Bolden is still a Flex consideration in standard leagues after garnering 30 carries over the last two weeks. The gameplan can shift drastically from week-to-week under Bill Belichick, but for now it appears that Bolden has a significant role in the offense. Vereen had just two carries over the last two games, and while one was for a goal-line touchdown, you are better off leaving him on your bench or on waivers for this week.
