Rashard Mendenhall was forced to leave the game versus the Titans on Thursday but his injury appears to be minor.
Rashard Mendenhall left the game versus the Tennessee Titans due to an issue with his Achilles but the injury appears to be minor, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com
Mendenhall's Achilles tightened up during the Steelers' 26-23 loss to the Titans. Mendenhall left the game with six carries and six yards. Mendenhall debuted the week before against the Philadelphia Eagles when he had 13 carries for 68 yards to go with three receptions for 33 yards and one touchdown.
Baron Batch replaced Mendenhall in the backfield versus Tennessee and had 10 carries and 22 yards in the game.
Mendenhall status for next week is uncertain as he will be re-evaluated after this weekend.
The Steelers rushing attack is averaging 74.8 yards a game which ranks 28th in the league. The Steelers have started the season with a record of 2-3 and trail the 3-2 Cincinnati Bengals and the 4-1 Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.
