Brandon Pettigrew is expected to play Sunday when the Detroit Lions play the Philadelphia Eagles despite being limited all week in practice with a knee injury. The tight end was listed as probable on Friday's injury report.
Pettigrew has yet to miss a game this season on his way to 23 receptions for 223 yards and a touchdown through four weeks.
Fantasy Impact: Pettigrew, in all likelihood, will be on the field Sunday. He has 15 receptions over his last two outings, though his solo touchdown is a little disappointing for fantasy owners. Still, he remains a decent starting option in standard leagues, just outside of elite options like Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski.
It is still unclear whether he will be limited at all during the game. If that's case, Tony Scheffler could see more balls thrown his way. Until you hear otherwise, assume Pettigrew will continue to be the more heavily-targeted pass catcher, however.
