Charles LeClaire-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire
The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Detroit Lions in Week 6 of the regular season.
The Philadelphia Eagles (3-2) will look to rebound from a disappointing loss in Week 5 when they host the Detroit Lions (1-3) on Sunday. Despite falling to the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a last second field goal by Shaun Suisham, turnovers once again proved to be problematic for Philadelphia. Quarterback Michael Vick struggled to hold onto the football and has caught criticism for fumbling on the one-yard line, which could have changed the outcome of the game.
Detroit has had their own struggles this season as the team will bring a three-game losing streak into the contest. Largely considered a legitimate threat in the NFC prior to the start of the season, the team has failed to live up to the expectation and will look to get their season back on track in Philadelphia.
The Eagles are favored in the opening line by five points with the total set at over 48, according to SB Nation odds powered by OddsShark.com.
